19th Anniversary of "Aaliyah" — Album Singles Tribute (JUL. 17, 2020)

I created this tribute to the singles from the album to celebrate their impact on pop culture, beauty, dance, and more. My favourite single from the album is "More Than A Woman," a beautiful song that signifies her growth as an artist and as a woman.

"Aaliyah" (2001) Singles (in order of appearance):

"We Need A Resolution"

"More Than A Woman"

"Rock the Boat"

"Try Again"

18th Anniversary of "Aaliyah" — Album Sampler (JUL. 17, 2019)

I created this album sampler in celebration of the 18th year anniversary of the release of “Aaliyah” (2001). It explores her album track-by-track and through the album booklet.

Aaliyah on her third, self-titled album: “I decided to self-title this album ‘Aaliyah’ and I wanted to do that because my name is Arabic and it has a beautiful meaning it means ‘the highest, most exalted one, the best’ and I wanted for the name to really carry the project […] I’m older, I’m more mature and I think that’s very evident on the album. So it really showcases Aaliyah and who she is right now”.
